generative music

this script translates corporeal movements (in this case, the speed and direction of hand landmarks) into midi signals. These signals can then be mapped to instruments in Ableton Live, allowing users to create / modify music + soundscapes using movement. Here, a video of seiji oda performing a tai chi routine is used as input, resulting in an ambient soundscape that 'responds' to his movements.
